Welcome to KULTREBEL.

KULTREBEL began in Montréal and is the brainchild of Lazaros Kali, a grad student who, in his hubris, crowns himself bon vivant and realized it was cheaper to get approved for a media pass than pay full price for any event ticket. What started as a half-baked scheme to get into festivals, conventions, premiers, parties and shows for free (or for cheap) has grown into a (more-or-less) genuine enterprise.

KULTREBEL covers arts and culture in all its forms: music, film, visual art, fashion, sport, nightlife, food, and the people behind it. From local scenes in Montréal to global movements shaping the way culture is made and consumed, the magazine documents what is new, what is underground, and what refuses to be ignored.
